The DIPHOTERINE® solution

In response to the mechanism of chemical burns, an efficient decontamination requires:

  • to remove the chemical from the surface to prevent further penetration
  • to stop polyvalently the six kinds of aggressive chemical reactions
  • to be able to stop the penetration of the aggressive product into the tissues.
  1. Like the usual rinsing solutions, the DIPHOTERINE® solution is a liquid and therefore meets the need of rinsing the surface.
  2. The DIPHOTERINE® solution contains a chelating and amphoteric molecule with at least one site able to stop the six kinds of possible reactions (acid, base, oxidation, reduction, solvatation, chelation).
    Polyvalence is a crucial advantage of the DIPHOTERINE® solution.

  3. The DIPHOTERINE® solution is hypertonic which allows it to attract towards the outside the chemical that has yet penetrated into the tissues.

The combination of these three properties allows the DIPHOTERINE® solution to prevent any possible sequelae resulting from this kind of accident because it decontaminates the chemical splash completely, inside and outside the tissues, in a polyvalent way.

The DIPHOTERINE® solution is guaranteed to be phosphate-free.

DIPHOTERINE® solution eyewash

In case of ocular chemical splash of a corrosive or irritant product, rinsing with the DIPHOTERINE® solution as soon as possible is crucial.

Available as wall-mounted stations or portable eyewashes, eyewashes must be installed in a place so close to the potential splash hazard that they can be triggered in the first minute following an accident.

The SIEW (for Sterilized Individual EyeWash) was specially intended for mobile staff units who can’t have fixed equipment at their disposal.
The SIEW must be individually worn by staff in order to allow its use within the 10 first seconds after splash.

DIPHOTERINE® solution LMPE.DAS

The DIPHOTERINE® solution wall-mounted station LMPE.DAS is a fixed and central rinsing spot that allows rinsing of body areas such as the face. It includes 2 DIPHOTERINE® solution LPMD bottles, 1 AFTERWASHII® solution bottle and 1 MINI DAP spray.

DIPHOTERINE® solution LPM

The DIPHOTERINE® solution LPM portable eyewash is a 500 ml packaging which allows to perform ocular rinsing within the first minute following the accident. It may be installed next to a hazardous workstation or carried around in staff toolboxes.

LMPE.DAS can be installed in the following conditions

  • In laboratories,
  • In factories, next to hazardous workstations,
  • In storage premises,
  • Next to stripping baths,
  • Carried around by maintenance staff, in non hazardous areas,
  • In first-aid rooms, in order to perform additional rinsing, in case of late use on the accident scene…

In case of cutaneous chemical splash of a corrosive or irritant product, rinsing with the DIPHOTERINE® solution as soon as possible is crucial.

DIPHOTERINE® solution DAP

The DIPHOTERINE® solution DAP autonomous portable shower must be installed in a place so close to the potential splash hazard that they can be triggered in the first minute following an accident.
It allows the rinsing of a complete body, with intervention within the first minute following the accident. The DAP can be protected and easily identifiable indoors if installed in a specific box or outdoors in a protective unit for extreme cold.

The DIPHOTERINE® solution sprays allow the decontamination of small cutaneous splashes. There are two sizes of DIPHOTERINE® solution sprays, the use of which depends on the kind of potential splash and thus on the area to decontaminate:

  • a MICRO DAP (100 ml) allows the decontamination of a small body part such as the hand or the cheek,
  • a MINI DAP (200 ml) allows the decontamination of the face or the thigh.

In case of larger splashes, it’s better to use a DIPHOTERINE® solution DAP.

  • In unloading areas,
  • In laboratories,
  • Next to surface treatment baths,
